Conor Davidson Re-Signs with the Knights Ahead of 2022/23
18th May 2022
Doncaster Knights are delighted to announce that loosehead prop Conor Davidson has re-signed with the club ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Conor first joined the club in October 2021 from Manly RUFC in New South Wales, Australia. During the 2021/22 season Conor made 13 appearances in the league as well as playing in 3 cup fixtures – making an immediate impact upon his debut and becoming a dependable performer in the Knights pack.
A soft-spoken player away from the field, Conor is a firm favourite amongst the squad and supporters as his dedication and talent shine through in his repeated selection to the starting XV and his nomination for the Championship team of the season.
Conor is happy to be remaining in Doncaster as it provides him the chance to continue within an environment which he has greatly enjoyed.
“After joining Donny a couple of games into the season I was hopeful of a great experience but wasn’t sure how things would pan out. Following the season we’ve had, it was a relatively straight forward decision to re-sign.
“And that’s thanks to being welcomed into probably the best team environment I’ve been a part of. It’s a great group of mates who are all on the same page and work for each other. Combine that with a committed group of coaches and staff whose results speak for themselves, and it’s an exciting set-up to be a part of.
“I can’t wait to get back in to continue the momentum we created last season and push each other for even greater achievements this coming season.”
We look forward to seeing what Conor can bring to the squad throughout 2022/23.
