DKTV | Marc Thomas aiming for positive second half of the season
15th January 2020
Marc Thomas believes the Knights can take plenty of positives from the defeat to Newcastle Falcons as the forward targets a better second half of the season.
Doncaster face Nottingham, Ampthill and London Scottish in their next three fixtures with Marc aiming to get three victories to push the side up the table.
Firstly, the 29-year-old was optimistic after the facing the league leaders last Friday evening.
“The boys worked hard and Newcastle are without doubt the best team in the league, but there are plenty of positives to take from the game.
Our defence and goal line D were awesome, we all stuck together, in the first 35 minutes our attack was good and this weekend we will take those positives forward.”
Marc is happy to be back at Castle Park as the Knights welcome Nottingham with just two points separating the two sides in the Championship table.
“It has been a while since we’ve played at home, we are looking forward to it, we will respect Nottingham but if we take those positives from the Newcastle game we should be in a good place.
We have goals set for the next three games, we feel these three games are important for us and if we can get three wins it’ll set up us well for the season.”
