Doncaster Knights can confirm that Penikolo Latu has joined the club until the end of the season.
The centre, who can also play as a winger, is a Tongan International with five caps to his name. His latest coming against Fiji in 2018, when he scored a superb individual try.

Speaking about the short term deal, Director of Rugby Clive Griffiths said:
“We welcome the midfielder and outside back and hope that he can bring his own direct and aggressive style to the team and reinforce our back line after the long-term injury loss of Pete Lucock.”
Penikolo has previously played for Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand and helped Biarritz win the Hong Kong 10s title in April last year.
While he arrives from Societe General Valley, who play in the Hong Kong Saxo Market Premiership and reached the Grand Championship final last month, but lost out on the title with a 15-12 defeat. Although our new arrival scored in the semi-final.
At 5ft 11 and 87KG, the back will be aiming to add further competition to the Doncaster squad with 11 games remaining this season.
Nicknamed ‘Kolo’, the centre was delighted to join the Knights.
“I wasn’t expecting a move, after Christmas i got a call from my agent saying Doncaster wanted me, i wanted to finish my season in Hong Kong and they made the final. Now I’ve arrived in Doncaster i am looking forward to playing and helping the side win as many games as possible.”
