#FEELGOODFRIDAY | Tyrell signs for another season.

Josh Tyrell has agreed to extend his stay in South Yorkshire, signing a new one-year contract extension.

The Samoan international arrived at Castle Park in January and has made a big impression in Donny colours.

The 27-year-old made his debut in the Knights’ stunning away win at Leinster A and has started every game since, scoring three tries and scooping several man of the match awards in the process.

Josh made his international debut for Samoa against Scotland at Murrayfield last November, scoring a try in a thrilling 44-38 defeat. Two weeks later the got his second cap against England proving his versatility lining up in the Samoan second row.  

Before his move to England Tyrell enjoyed an impressive Mitre 10 cup campaign with North Harbour, aiding the side to reach the Premiership semi-finals where they lost out to eventual champions Canterbury.

Josh spoke to DKTV after agreeing his new deal.
