NEW SIGNING | Doncaster sign Dan Suter until the end of the season
5th November 2019
The club are delighted to announce the second new arrival this week with Dan Suter joining the Knights.
The tighthead prop has most recently been plying his trade in New Zealand and has experience with the Ospreys and Dragons.
Dan has also been capped for Wales at U20 & U18 level and helped his country reach the 2013 Junior World Championship final.
The 26-year-old has also spent time at Bridgend Ravens amongst other semi-professional Welsh outfits.
Director of Rugby Clive Griffiths was pleased to add Dan to the squad.
” It was important to strengthen our squad with an experienced player into the squad with Charlie Beech leaving the club. We wanted someone that could play on both sides of the scrum.
Dan has been playing for Canterbury in New Zealand and is ready made to take over that position.”
While the Welshman was delighted to arrive at Castle Park and will be in contention to feature for the Knights against Coventry on Saturday at the Butts Park Arena.
” When i was playing out in New Zealand I got a call that Doncaster were interested and was happy to make the move.
It is a great club and I hope to add as much as i can to the squad, I have been training a few days already, it seems a good coaching set up and I feel settled already.”
