Charity Fun Run happening on 15th December

A charity fun run will take place on the 15th December at Castle Park in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

Last year a charity run occurred and was a brilliant success that involved Dougie Flockhart shaving off his hair for a great cause.

Dougie is delighted the charity run will go ahead again. "Following the success of the run last year and with the British Heart Foundation as the charity of choice we have decided to go ahead with the run again. We've worked closely with a Knights supporter Sally Greenly to organise this 5km fun run."

"Hopefully the Danum Harriers will be used to marshal it again and will start before the game on the 15th and give plenty of time to get back for the match. There was 100 entries last year which was great and everybody is welcome, whether you're coming to win or just take part, there will be prizes as well for the different categories.

Also at the fun run will be the challenge of trying to beat a regular Ironman competitor in a Christmas pudding outfit as well as Santa costumes given to all entries.

There are discounts for children to enter the fun run and all competitors receive free entry into the Knights' Championship Cup clash with Nottingham.
