Club Statement | Head Coach

The Club recently published an advert in a national rugby newspaper for a new Head Coach.

The role is to work alongside Current Director of Rugby Clive Griffiths, with a view to becoming the club's DoR in the future.

As former England Defence coach Phil Larder is retiring from his role with Doncaster at the end of the season, the club have seen fit to begin the search for a new coach at Castle Park.

The requirements for the role are significant experience, dedication, motivation and managerial qualities, these are absolute necessities together with relevant recognised qualifications.

Executive Chairman Tony De Mulder gave a statement on the advert.

“We are an ambitious club and believe that moving forward we should aspire to compete at the best level possible.

We are seeking to appoint a first class coach to the Doncaster Knights' rugby staff, someone who will bring experience and expertise to drive us forward.

The new candidate will work with Clive Griffiths with a view to taking the reins permanently at a suitable juncture in the future."

Applications should be emailed, with a full CV, to the Executive Chairman Tony De Mulder at tony.demulder@saria.co.uk or President Steve Lloyd at srl@slloyd.co.uk.
