Club Statement | Robbie Banks

The club are sad to announce that Robbie Banks has passed away last week from Pneumonia.

Robbie was suffering from flu before Christmas and took a turn for the worse into Pneumonia. He was admitted to hospital on Christmas day after a fall. Unfortuantely because of breathing difficulties, a coma was induced and thus he remained for 31 days.

On Sunday 27th January he passed away peacefully in hospital. Robbie was a regular Doncaster Dragons Player for many years. A lovely character and a nice man and will be talked about and missed. Funeral arrangements will be posted as they become known.
