DKTV | Colin Quigley: Bedford Blues Preview

Colin Quigley spoke to DKTV earlier this week about the reaction needed from the Knights this Saturday against Bedford Blues.

Doncaster lost 41-21 to Jersey Reds last Friday, but produced an improved second half display as they scored three tries.

“It was all about playing in the right areas in the second half, as we had made a lot of mistakes in the first, but all credit to Jersey as they blew us away really. We dug in deep and scored a few tries in the second half and we have to take that into the Bedford game.”

Colin has made 18 starting appearances in a Donny shirt this season and is looking forward to trying to claim the victory against Bedford Blues.

“It was a bad day at the office, so we need to put that right this weekend at Castle Park.”

The 37-year-old is expecting a tough task today against the Championship sixth placed side.

“It will be another tough game, they are a very good attacking team, so we are going to have to front up and sort out our defence.”
