DKTV | Michael Hills: "It is pleasing to have that strength in depth in the side."

Doncaster secured their second victory at Castle Park in 2019 after an impressive display against Bedford Blues on Saturday.

Captain Michael Hills returned from an injury sustained in early January and made a superb return to the side as the Knights ran out 27-20 winners.

"We built all week towards the win, we looked at working as a team and putting in a massive team performance and i think all the boys, the coaching staff are pleased after a tough week, but smiles are on faces after a good win like that."

All the bottom five sides in the Championship won as the Knights rose to eighth in the table and the back row is aware of the important of Saturday's victory.

"It definitely shows the strength of the Championship and at this time of the season certain teams can have a poor performance and if you're on your game you can get the win."
