#FEELGOODFRIDAY | Bomber back at Castle Park.

Prop Robin Hislop becomes the second new arrival of the summer as he returns to Castle Park from Ayr RFC.

The 25-year-old returns having first signed for the Club ahead of the 2016/17 season from Rotherham Titans and enjoyed an impressive start to life as a Knight, featuring in each of the first fifteen games of the season before suffering a serious shoulder injury just after the new year.

The injury saw Hislop sidelined for the remainder of the campaign before returning home to continue his rehab. Back fit Bomber has made waves in the Scottish Premiership and DoR Clive Griffiths moved quickly to bring him back to South Yorkshire.

Before moving to England Robin developed through the academy of Edinburgh Rugby going on to made a handful of first team appearances in the European Cup and Pro12 and collected age grade honours with Scotland at Under 17, 18 and 20 level eventually going on to Captain the U20s. He also appeared for ‘Scotland Clubs’ versus ‘Ireland Clubs’ in 2013.

Now back in South Yorkshire Hislop will look to compete for the Knights number one jersey against stiff competition from Richard List and Toby Williams as well as coaching with National Division Two North side Sheffield Tigers.

Speaking upon his return Bomber said. "I am delighted to have signed back at the Knights.

"I really enjoyed my time here last year. The boys are great craic and will be nice to be back with them on a daily basis.

"Castle park is one of the best set ups in the league and an awesome place to play rugby. So I’m looking forward to getting tore into next season and really adding to the squad and helping them push on."
