Match Guide for Six Nations England Women's match

The Red Roses return to Castle Park on Sunday in a Six Nations fixture against France Women.

Both sides started off the competition with convincing wins, making the match an even bigger affair with France the reigning Six Nations champions.

For those travelling to the match, please be aware of the roadworks in Armthorpe.

The council are carrying out major maintenance works on a section of Nutwell Lane between Whiphill Lane and the Old Cantley side of Fiddlers Drive.

The works are being undertaken under two weekend daytime road closures between 8am and 6pm on the weekends of Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th and Saturday and Sunday 16th and 17th February. Pedestrian and Emergency vehicles access will be maintained at all times.

The Council are doing the works at the weekend to minimise disruption to commuters during the normal working week.

A signed diversion will be in operation.

On Saturday 9/16 February there will be no access for vehicles in and out of the Fiddlers Drive estate between 8am and 12noon. This is so the carriageway can be excavated and replaced through the junction.

At all other times during the two weekend closures access to the Fiddlers Drive junction will be maintained and controlled by traffic management staff. Access will be via Old Cantley.

All other side roads within the works area will remain closed for the duration of the road closure.

Information relating to bus routes and timetables during the road closures can be obtained from Travel line on 01709 515151.

England Men will be in action against France at 3pm. Fans can watch the match on the concourse TVs, while enjoying a drink after the Red Roses match has finished.
