Last month the Doncaster Knights Colts U17s travelled to South Africa on tour before the team separates for ventures elsewhere.
The players left South Yorkshire for 10 days as they enjoyed training sessions, travelling and playing matches in the country.
In three arranged friendlies with local high schools in South Africa, the U17s battled well in the closely fought games, however all ended up in defeat.
Elsewhere on the tour the players enjoyed time on the seal island cruise, a visit to a nature reserve, Boulders Beach, Table Mountain as well as the famous Robben Island.
Also on the trip they enjoyed a lunch with former Springbok De Wet Barry, who made 39 appearances for South Africa and featured for Harlequins during his playing career.
A great trip for all who went and we wish the U17s all the best for the future!
