Who are the Doncaster Knights?
Doncaster Knights are the most promoted team in English Rugby history curently plying their trade the Greene King IPA Championship. The Knights stepped near the Premiership with a Championship play-off finals appearance in 2015/16 and a semi-finals appearance in 2017/18.
The club owns their, aptly named, Castle Park stadium which is a 22-acre site 4 miles from Doncaster town centre. It is a superb multi-purpose facility and the envy of many a visiting team. Confirmation of the outstanding facilities at Castle Park and the first rate job the match day and operations staff do came with the selection as host venue for the Maori All Blacks vs RFU Championship XV in November 2013, which saw 5000 people watch the notorious Southern Hemisphere side triumph in a celebration of tier two rugby.
The Knights impressive run of promotions numbered eight in fifteen seasons of league rugby, a unique achievement in the English game. As part of the commitment to the family game Castle Park, the home of the Doncaster Knights has some of the best Rugby viewing facilities in South Yorkshire. The state of the art £2.2m De Mulder Lloyd has spacious 12 person corporate boxes for hire on match days for a full season catered for from the award winning Castle Park kitchens. On match days you can book a table or individual places in our hospitality to enjoy a 3-course meal before stepping out of your seat for the game.
Individual suites of varying sizes can be booked to host various match day offers from company days out to private parties enjoying the game. “The Farmers” and the “TOSSERS” are two examples of private parties that regularly enjoy our state of the art hospitality facilities and we welcome any individual or group that may wish to enquire.
