Conor Joyce was one of Steve Boden’s first new signings as Knights boss, arriving from Jersey following a stellar campaign on the Island.
The 26-year-old signed for Jersey in 2017 and made over 50 appearances in Cup & league competition.
Born in Solihull, Joyce actually developed as a professional with PRO14 heavyweights Ulster; spending five years with the organization in all.
Aged 18 & 174 days Conor made his Ulster debut in a Boxing Day trip to Leinster in 2011, which made him the youngest player to ever represent an Irish province in the league.
Conor went on to make handful of first team appearances as well as featuring regularly in the Ulster British & Irish Cup side.
During his time in Belfast Joyce was named the Ireland Under-20s captain in an age group where the back-row options included Dan Leavy, Josh van der Flier and Jack O’Donoghue.
