The centre followed Matt Smith and Andrew Foster from Headingley to Castle Park ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The number 12 played for Carnegie his whole career making an impressive 163 appearances for the club.
He rose up the mini junior ranks of the Leeds based side and made his Carnegie debut against Rotherham in 2011 having been promoted to the senior squad ahead of the Championship season. He went onto appear 20 times for the first team in that season, helping them to a play-off finish.
In the 2014-15 campaign Pete was one of the stars of the team for Carnegie, missing just one game over the campaign and earning the honour of Carnegie Player of the Season. The 26-year-old followed this up with a further 24 appearances during the 2015-16 season, featuring in both of the side’s play-off games.
Born in Leeds, he was an almost ever present during the 2016-17 campaign and played in both play off final legs against London Irish, when the team almost clinched promotion back to the top flight.
Pete was also named in the Championship Dream XV that year demonstrating the quality of the signing the club have made.
