Full-back and wing George Simpson signed for the Knights ahead of the 2022/23 season from fellow Championship side, Hartpury.

George originally signed for Hartpury ahead of the 2019/20 season and soon excelled in their back-line, often being seen crossing the whitewash to score.

As well as featuring for Hartpury, George has Championship experience with Ealing Trailfinders. This accompanies BUCS Super Rugby caps with Cardiff Met University, age-grade rugby with Harlequins and A League and Sevens involvement with Wasps and London Irish.

Securing 24 appearances and 10 tries in his first season as a Knight, George returns this year looking to use his speed and handling prowess to secure his place in the starting line-up against new competition.
