Biography

Director of Rugby Steve Boden arrived to lead the Knights coaching team ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Having made 195 appearances for the Knights as a player in both National One and the Championship between 2005 and 2012, Bodes initially returned to Castle Park as the Forwards Coach.

Having retired from playing whilst at Jersey Reds, Bodes then coached the Channel Islands forward pack before moving to Yorkshire Carnegie in 2016 where, as Head Coach, he helped to guide the Leeds side to a play-off final in his first season at Headingly.

Promoting youth, drive and determination in his squad since taking over the reins, Bodes has developed a talented young side who are prepared to give their all as individuals and as members of the collective squad.
