The Red Roses secure another win at Castle Park!

England Women defeated Ireland 27-0 in front of a sold out crowd at Castle Park on Sunday.

Four first half tries saw the Red Roses take a commanding lead at the interval. Captain Sarah Hunter opened the scoring with Abby Dow, Jess Breach and Vicky Fleetwood all following suit.

After the interval, the game became a much closer affair with full-back Sarah McKenna the only player to score during the second half and secure the bonus-point win that put England three points ahead of France in the 2020 Six Nations table.

For all those fans that enjoyed their day in Doncaster, tickets can be purchased for the Knights next fixture at Castle Park and for the Ladies Day event being held on the same date – 



Mascot Competition for England Women’s Six Nations fixture

Castle Park plays host to the Red Roses 2020 Women’s Six Nations match against Ireland next month on Sunday 23rd February with a 12:45pm kick off.

Seated tickets in the De Mulder Lloyd Stand have now sold out for the match, but there are plenty of terrace tickets left and can be purchased from or the EnglandRugby website.

You now have the chance to become a mascot by simply emailing as to why you want to be a mascot for the Six Nations match.

The deadline is the 31st January to get your entries in.

Current DRFC members who wish to apply for tickets to any of England’s home 2020 Six Nations please complete the form contained on the below link and return it by Friday 29th November together with your cheque for the appropriate value to the new point of contact Michael Casey on

As always, the Club receives a relatively small ticket entitlement for games and should demand outstrip supply tickets will be allocated via a ballot.

The Club can also apply for an extremely finite number of away tickets, should you be interested contact Michael Casey by 5pm Monday 7th October.
