Team news | Six changes made for Richmond.

Following a bruising encounter with Saracens on Sunday the Knights coaching staff make six changes to the starting XV ahead of tomorrow’s trip to the Richmond Athletic Ground.

The Knights look to get back to winning ways against Richmond Rugby with several players being handed opportunities to put their hand up for a regular position in the XV.

Upfront Will Holling starts his first Championship game of the season having made a number of impressive contributions from the bench this term. Gaz Denman returns at tight head in place of Andy Foster with Conrad Cade continuing at loose head following a fine display last weekend.

Matt Challinor skippers the side at lock alongside Matt Smith who comes in for Jerry Sexton and it is as you were in the back-row with Conor Joyce, Sam Graham and Guido Volpi.

In the half backs James Mitchell is back amongst the starters with Gus Warr dropping to the bench and Sam Olver continues at fly half. Howard Packman gets his first start of the Championship season on the left wing and James Newey starts for the first time since Ampthill away in round one.

Kyle Evans & Billy McBryde continue on the right wing and full back respectively with Connor Edwards also retaining his spot at inside centre.

The forward replacements are the same as last weekend with the coaching staff sticking with a six, two split and James Kane features again, hoping to get a second competitive outing after making his derby versus Jersey Reds in round five.
