Winger Dougie Flockhart passed Glen Kenworthy as the Knights most capped professional player in the 2016/17 season with yet another exemplary, consistent campaign.
The 34-year-old also topped the Knights scoring charts, passing Rob Liley’s long standing record in January 2017.
The Scotsman played a crucial role in the Knights play-off final season as he topped the Championship's point scoring charts, was named as the Division's Player of the Month for March and selected in The Rugby Paper's team of the year.
In his 9th season at Castle Park, Flockhart only managed to feature seven times after suffering an ankle injury in the Knights 2016/17 pre-season win over Loughborough Students. He did, however, still manage 44 points when he pulled on the Donny shirt last season.
So far in the 2018/19 campaign Douige has contributed 89 points for the Knights from only eight starts, showing his experienced kicking ability and winger.
