Club Captain and lock forward Matt Challinor has been one of the Knights leading performers ever since arriving at Castle Park from fierce rivals Rotherham Titans in 2010.
Chall was the stand out player in the Knights promotion winning campaign 2013/14, starting every single game, winning of the Players' Player of the Season and being selected in The Rugby Paper's Team of the Year.
The talismanic lock has continued to be a cornerstone of the Knights pack and has seen a number of second-row partners come and go whilst standing firm in jersey number four.
Challinor started twenty-two fixtures in 2016/17 and all featured in all but two Championship games last season. The 34-year-old has now reached a legendary landmark of over a double century of appearances in a Donny shirt.
