Toby Williams became the first signing of the 2018/19 season, joining from Rotherham Titans.
Toby arrived with a wealth of Championship experience behind him, having first signed for the Rotherham Titans in June 2013 and making 86 appearances.
The move to Clifton Lane was Toby’s first professional rugby union contract after switching codes from rugby league where he competed for Keighley Cougars and York City Knights before trying his hand at the 15-a-side game with Otley.
The Prop performances for Otley earned him selection to the Yorkshire senior squad where he caught the eye of former Titans Head Coach Lee Blackett who quickly moved to secure his services for the 2013/14 campaign.
The 32-year-old made a handful of appearances in his debut season as the Titans reached the end of season play-offs. Toby became a mainstay in the Titans pack in 2014/15 as Rotherham went on to reach the play-offs for a second season running.
