Back rower Rhys Tait officially joins the Knights from United Rugby Championship side Glasgow Warriors having originally featured on loan for the Knights at the tail end of the 2022/23 season.

A former Scotland U20s captain, having led the side throughout the 2022 U20s Six Nations campaign, Rhys enjoyed an impressive age-grade career for his country.

A member of the Glasgow Warriors Academy, Rhys’ club rugby exposure includes Super6 sides Boroughmuir Bears and Southern Knights as well as youth rugby for both Hawick and Jed-Forest.

The 20 year old forward – who scored a brace of tries on his Knights debut against Bedford Blues – is happy to be continuing his growth as a player in the Doncaster environment having already made 7 appearances.
